Song Of Despair (Iqbal's Shikwa)

                                                      Song Of Despair Part- 9
                                                           (Iqbal’s Shikwa)

Why are the Muslims devoid of worldly wealth?
Thy divine power is such which has no borders,

If Thou so wish, bubble can form in desert,
The mirage can convert to dashing waves of waters,

We are pauper, target of others’ ridicule and have ill fame,
Is misery the reward for dying in Thy sacred name?

The world which we ruled, now loves others,
We are left with but an imaginary world to heed,

We are no more on the scene others rule the world,
Say not later the world is emptied of tawheed,

We strive for immortalizing Thy sacred name in the world,
Is it possible that Muslims perish and Islam exists in the world?

(Suggestions invited to make the above more exact.)
